Coming through Galena (from the north):
Note: We highly recommend Los Aztecas Mexican restaurant in Galena, just behind McDonalds. Very quick service, lots of parking, great food and margaritas.
From Galena: take Blackjack Road toward Chestnut Mountain ski resort.
- Go 6 miles and turn right onto Sand Hill Road at the sign for Goldmoor Inn.

Coming through Elizabeth (from the east):
Note: we recommend you visit "Cajun Jack's" Restaurant (big shark) and nearby "Elizabeth's Grand Antiques Company" if you have time.
- From Cajun Jack's take Hwy 20 for 1.6 miles northwest and turn left onto Hwy 84.
- Go 2.3 miles and turn right on W. Saw Mill Road.
- Go 2.3 miles and turn right on W. Blackjack Rd.
- Go 5.7 miles and turn sharp left onto Sand Hill Road at the sign for Goldmoor Inn.

Coming through Hanover (from the south)
- Turn left off 84 onto Blackjack Rd. toward Chestnut Mtn. Ski Resort,
- Go 9 miles and turn sharp left onto Sand Hill Rd at the sign for the Goldmoor Inn.

-Turn left at the bottom of the hill onto River Road.
- Take the first driveway on the left into our parking area (big yellow equestrian center).

Coming by Boat
- Dock at Chestnut Mountain's Pier
- Walk 0.9 miles North along beautiful River Road.
- Turn Right into the driveway for the big yellow builing.

Give Wrangler Roger your updated arrival time (at 608-331-0000) and he will try to meet you to direct you where to park.

Guest Parking is normally in front of the black horse carriage and the white front door. We'll come out with our friendly dogs for a "sniff and greet." Bessie is a German Shepard, Nala and Simba are mini Dachshunds, and Pepper is a Yorkie mix.

We will expect you to arrive at your scheduled time. Please keep us updated if your arrival time changes so we can plan accordingly. Please don't arrive early. If you get ahead of schedule and have a few minutes to kill, I recommend driving south one mile along scenic River Road to the bottom of Chestnut Mountain ski resort. They have a nice pier that they allow the public to use.

Please, please, watch for our little dogs, pigs, ducks, and chickens as you come and go in the parking area, especially backing up. The dogs often stand or sit in driver blind spots under tires. Please do not pet our neighbor's horses or go onto their private property. Please don't let kids chase the ducks or chickens. Please do not feed any of the animals unless supervised by a wrangler. They can develop bad habits or become ill.

Google Maps erroneously directs users into the driveway of the Goldmoor Inn above us. Our driveway is off River Road, not Sand Hill Road.
Go all the way to the bottom of Sand Hill Road - turn left on River Road (heading south) - turn left into the driveway for the big yellow equestrian center
at the bottom of the hill. We are working to get this glitch corrcted on Google Maps. Sorry for any inconvenience.
